travel plaza imageSite Location

Bell's Travel Plaza will be located on the prime corner corner of a 77-acre site that will allow for future expansion. The initial development will have 1,400 feet of frontage on a new two-lane bypass completed in November of 2004 by the State of Arkansas.

  • Good access with high visibility and exposure to local traffic and Interstate traffic.

  • New image facility will enjoy exceptional presence.

  • There are no surrounding or limiting conditions or distractions, and no apparent negative site features.

  • There will be free and clear entry and exit for professional truck drivers and consumers.

  • The site allows for interior circular maneuverability equal to or better than immediate competitors.

New Highway 40 Cloverleaf:

This construction project includes a new exit and entrance at Interstate 40 for Eastbound and Westbound traffic. The project location is immediately adjacent to the Westbound Interstate 40 exit.

Construction is scheduled for completion within several months at which time this new highway will be open to local traffic and this new exit will be open to Eastbound and Westbound Interstate 40 traffic.

Of course, the creation of the new State Highway One Bypass with the interchange at Interstate 40 is the result of long-range planning that anticipates continuing growth, and will spur continuing growth in the Forrest City area and St. Francis County. There will be increasing traffic on this cloverleaf bypass, enhanced significantly by the Interstate 40 exit. As conceived, Bell’s Travel Plaza will be a major retail operation at this new location, and will benefit from this increasing traffic.
